My mom in law needed a carer when she came out of hospital with a broken leg. I visited many sites on the internet and came across a company called Comfort Carers. I got in touch with a lady called Gillian Burns and explained my situation.

My mom in law is very fussy in whom she wants and trust, and Gillian did forward me a cv of Gladys Pondo. Gladys is very punctual, caring and has so much patience with my mom.

I could not have found a better agency as well as a better carer for my mom. We will definitely request there services again and even spread the word.

We needed a carer for our 86 year old mother over the December 2009 busy period. Our request was very promptly dealt with and the type of person required that our mother could relate to was a most ideal and wonderful women who was extremely punctual and very caring. Our mother does not warm to strangers readily but very soon placed her trust in and enjoyed the time with the carer.

During this time and thereafter the follow up on whether we were happy was really very good.

The next time we will definitely request the services of Comfort Carers again.

After my husband fell sick with dementia I was at a loss to know what to do for him. He needed professional help and I was put in touch with a young lady named Gillian Burns from a company called Comfort Carers – she runs a caring service business.

She was extremely helpful and polite and very efficient in her service.

A carer was arranged immediately for my husband and I therefore felt a lot at ease.

I was very pleased with the carer, she was very professional and in no time my husband was able to look after himself with the help from me.

I will not hesitate to recommend Comfort Carers and Gillian Burns.

Comfort Carers certainly lives up to its name.

In a recent family emergency we required the services of a suitable carer for our elderly father at short notice. Within a few hours Gillian came to the rescue and provided us with a most suitable and reliable replacement. We are most impressed with the professional and caring service provided by Comfort Carers and would recommend their services to anyone needing dependable, nurturing care for their elderly loved ones.

The Morris family (Pinelands)

I had the experience recently of requiring home care for my elderly mother, and was fortunate to have been able to make use of the services of Comfort Carers.

The initial contact between myself and Comfort Carers was swift, friendly, efficient and professional. The awareness that I required assistance at fairly short notice, was dealt with quickly and no complications arose. Even when I required assistance at odd times and for odd lengths of time, Comfort Carers dealt with the request without any problems.

Detailed questioning regarding the patients concerned, as well as the special needs, was excellent, and gave one comfort to know that the placement would be accurate as possible. The actual service rendered was outstanding, and every effort was made to accommodate the patient as well as the family.

Good, clear communication was important, so that no misunderstandings arose. There were no delays in communication, and service was swift.

The company displayed a real sense of compassion and empathy for especially the patient, but also for the next of kin. Follow-up interest after the services were rendered, was highly appreciated by the family.

I had complete peace of mind, that my mother was being taken good care of while I was at work, and that the desired professional and appropriate care was given.

I will recommend Comfort Carers and Gillian Burns without hesitation.
